INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPOR T

Independent èxamin•￿8 r•port to th• Trust8•s of th• Thornsby Charitable Trust
I report to tha Trusl8es on my examlnalion of the accounis of the Twst for th8 year ended 31 March 2025.
R•sponilbllltle8 and ba$ls of roport
As the charity truslees of the Trust you ar8 responsible for the prepalation of th8 accounis in accordance
with the requirem&nls of the Charlties Act 20111'the Acl'l. You ar8 satisfied thal an audit is not required
for this year under ¢harlty law and that an independènt examination is needed.
I report in respect of my examinalion of the Trust's accounts carried out under secbon 145 of the 2011 Act
and in carrylng out my examination I have followed all the applicable direclbons glven by th6 Charfly
Comrni55ion under section 1451Sllbl ol the Act. Dixon Wilson, a firm of Chartered Accountants of whSch I
am an employee, has provided bookkeeping services to the Tnjsl and I have applled the FRC'8 Revlsed
Elhlcal Standard in carying out my exarninalion.
An indep8ndenl examination does not involve gatherfng all the evidence thal would be required in an audit
and consequently does not cov&r all the matters Ihat an auditor considers in giving their opinion on the
aceounly. The plannlng and conduct of an audit goes beyond the limited assurance that an Independent
examination can provide. Consequently, l express no opinion as lo whether the 8Gcounts presént 8 'true
and fair, view 8nd my report is lirnited lo those specific matters sel out in tho Sntlependent 8xaminar's
stotement.
Ind•p•ndènt •xamln•r'8 8tat•m•nt
l am qtJ81ilied lo undertake the examination by b8lng a qualified mernber of the Inslilule of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wales.
I hov8 completed my examination. I confirm that no material mallers have ccme lo my attantlon in
connaclion with the examination giving me cause lo believe that in any malerlal respect..
accountlng records were not kept In respect of the Trust as requSred by sgdon 130 of the Act,. or
2. the accounts do not accord wllh those records,. or
3. the 8ccounls do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of
accounts set out In thÈ Ch8rlties (Accounts Bnd R8ports) Regulations 2008 other than any
requirement that the a￿ountS give a 'lrue and fair vigw, which is nol a rnalter consld8red as part
of an independent examination,. or
4. the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the rnelhods 8nd prfnciples ol the
