The charity makes small "first aid" grants and offers advice to former members of her Majesty's Royal Air Forces who were prisoners of war and their widows and dependents. The charity makes small donations to other charities who share the objects of the Royal Air Forces ex-Prisoners of War Association.

Objects: (A) To Advance Public Education And To Relieve Poverty And Hardship Particularly Among Persons Who Are Or Were Members Of The Royal Air Force Or Any Of The Air Forces Of The Countries Which Were Allied To The United Kingdom In August 1945 And Who Were Taken Prisoner By The Enemies Of His Late Majesty King George Vi And The Dependants Or Relatives Of Such Persons Who Are In Need. (B) To Support Any Charities For The Time Being Registered Under Section 4 Of The Charities Act 1960 For Purposes In Any Way Connected With Or Related To (I) The Charitable Objects Of The Association Or (Ii) Any Class Of Persons The Same As Or Similar To That Described In Sub-Clause (A) Hereof.
