Objectives and Activities

Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity during the year

The work on the construction of the two new tennis courts on virgin land was started.

The Cricket Club fitted a new static net with artificial strip.

Annual maintenance work was carried out to the car parks with more potholes filled in and more stone laid.

Maintenance was carried out to the perimeter hedging and the hedging around the car parks. The usual maintenance was carried out to the playing surfaces.

The Astroturf in the MUGA was relined.

The membership of all the constituent Clubs of the RRC increased further mainly because Tennis Club membership continued to rise.

All relevant policies including Safeguarding policies and Health and Safety policies of the constituent clubs are in place and checked annually.

Brief statement of the Charity’s policy on reserves

All cash held at the Bank (Charities Aid Foundation) is an unrestricted fund. Such funds are held for future maintenance of existing facilities and the creation of improved facilities.

Future Plans

The Tennis Club should complete their two new courts are also hoping to replace the floodlights on courts 1 & 2 with LEDs.

The Cricket Club hopes to acquire an electronic scoreboard.
