## **Objectives and Activities**

- To maintain the Trust Property for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ramsbury in the County of Wiltshire in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

- The activities of the Charity during the course of the year were to promote sport in the fields of Football, Cricket, Tennis, Bowls and Netball for the inhabitants of Ramsbury to include coaching of children.

- In order to fulfil the above objectives, fund raising activities were planned and executed to raise money to improve the facilities available at the Trust Property.

- A huge contribution is made by the Management Committee and other voluntary helpers and we are very grateful for the many hours that they have put in for the benefit of the Village

- All monies raised are used to improve the facilities and any surplus is invested in a Building Society to earn interest.

## **Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity during the year**

The refurbishment of the Football Club building was completed.

Further maintenance work was carried out to the car parks with more potholes filled in and the track between the tennis courts and the MUGA was surfaced with tarmac.

Considerable maintenance was carried out to the perimeter hedging. Usual maintenance was carried out to the playing surfaces.

The Astroturf in the MUGA was relined.

The membership of all the constituent Clubs of the RRC increased significantly mainly because Tennis Club membership rose sharply.

All relevant policies including Safeguarding policies and Health and Safety policies of the constituent clubs are in place and checked annually.

## **Brief statement of the Charity’s policy on reserves**

All cash held at the Building Society is an unrestricted fund. Such funds are held for future maintenance of existing facilities and the creation of improved facilities.

## **Future Plans**

The Tennis Club was given consent to build two new outdoor courts and that work should be started.
