Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main
achievements of the charlty
during the year
The economic climate Gontinues lo provide numerous challenges and
pressure, along with goveTnmenl incentives to provide more assistance
to working parents.
This has seen the number of children allending our setting to decrease,
but the average number of hours children attend for each week has
increased.
As a result this has Seen our fundraising activities become limited, as
unless we can engage the local community further, we are effectively
relying on the smaller number of parents and their families.
This effectively makes us more dependant on local authority funding,
where the rates are diclated to us.
