The accounts comply with the charity's constitution, the Chariti¢s Act 2011, and Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice appli¢able to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland- Charities SORP (FRS 102). and the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102). The Chari 's Trusts The Charity is all international, interd¢nominational and intercultural body committed to the scholarly study of issues related to Christian mission. It was inaugurated in Driebergen, the Neiherland5. in 1972, with its governing document being a Deed of Trust. 12Dd Administrative Infornhation The inforniation about legal and adminislrative issues can be found on page one of these accounls. Ob'ectives As set out in the Charity's goveming documents, its objectives are: a. to promote the scholarly study of theological. historical and practi¢al questions relating to the mission of the Church- b. to disscminate infom)ation concerning tnission among all those engaged in such studies and among the general public. c. to relate studies in mission to studies in theological and other disciplines. through ihe encouragement of interdisciplinary rese.Ch programtn¢s and other appropriate means; d. to promote fellowship, cooperation and mutual assistance in mission studies, cspecially among national. regional and denominational mission study associations and equivalents. e. to organise irttematioiial conferences of mi55iologists' f. to encourage the creation of centres of research. g. to stimulate publications in the area of the AssociatiOT]'s interest, including an intemalional journal and bibliography. Activities and Achicvemcnts durin the Year I'he IAMS Executive Committce met several limes online over the course of 2025. We continued to work towards the 16, General Assembly from 17, to 21 July 2026 at the Campus of the University of South Africa (UNISA) located in Tshwane. South Africa. The preparations included an in-per50ll visit from several m¢mbers of the Executive Committee to the conference site in Prctoria and to meet with the local organizers. A budget has sin¢e been prepared and agreed. A draft prOgrnine is available and therc was a tremendous response to the Call for Papers with over 180 being submitted. The Executive's Academic SulFCominittee worked on sifting the ones that are Suitable for prescnlation. Afission Siudies continued to publish high-quality articles in our field under the leadership of Professor Dorotty2 Nagy and the assistant editors-Nigcl Rooms, Eugenc Baron, and Norbcrt Litoing. All issues were published on-time and the new budgetary arrang¢m¢nts ar¢ working well. One IAMS rcgional Conference took place in 2025 (beyond the annual American Society of Missiology Conference). The opportunity of having Executive members in Pretoria meant that the Soutl)ern African mi5siological Society could be called togethcr for a day to discuss, 'The Relevance of Missiological Education in Africa in the Context of Decolonisation and Political Change in Southern Africa." Out of this ev¢nt a further conference emerged which is taking place in early 2026 at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines, titled "Unsettling the Center: Reim#gining Mission Studies and Decoloniality the Global South., This is an importajit collaboration and development between South-south Inissiologists from Asia, Africa and South America. Grants were made for each of these regions to support the running of this conference.

We are very grateful to the significant support from Kor¢a-IAMS which enabled this to happen. Public Benefit In reviewing the Charity's ongoing objectives and activities, thc Trustees have considered tli¢ guidance set out in the Charity Coiy)n)ission's guidelines on public bencfil and arc of the opinion that the objectives and activities are iii totsl cotnpliance thcrewith. Trustecs The Trustees named on pag¢ I served during the ycar and up to th¢ date of signing this report. There are no other Truste¢s. ointment of Trustees Trusle¢s are appointed following selection based on their professional skills andlor representstional qualities. The tn]5tees have worked or studied in different parts of the world that the Charity seeks to serve, and thcir insights into mission studies, contextual theology, education, and intercultural theology mects the needs of the Charity as it seeks to fijlfil its objectives globally.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR MISSION STUDIES RUSTEES AIINUAL REPORT CONTYD OR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST DECEMBER 2025 IDvestments Investments are held in Short to medium terni bank deposit accounts in order to provide fl¢xibility and ease of access. The highest available ratc of interest is pursued, but this is depeiident upon the capital sum available to be invested and the ov¢rriding requirement of a¢cessibility. Risk Mana ement The Trustees have examined the major strategic. business and operational risks which the Charity faces. or may facc, and confirni that systems ar¢ in plac¢ to enabl¢ regular reports to be produced, so that thc necessary steps can be tak¢n to lessen any such risks. The principal risks faced by the Charity are the sustainability of income. and the ongoing restraint over. and control of, operating costs. Both these Tisks are under constant review and monitoring. Reserves Poli The Trustees Consider that free reserves amounting to six month's operating costs is ptudent and advisable to cover the various uncertainties and risks in the current economic climate. Additionally, sufficient re5erv¢s are required during the quadr¢nnial conference where tliere is a different pattern of demand on cash flow. Thes¢ requirements are under constant review by the Trustees, who consider that ihe position at the year end date is in line with policy. Trustees RemunerAtionlEx enses None of th¢ Trustces is remunerated by the Charity either directly or indirectly. No expenses are paid to Trustees other than to reimburse occasional, low-value authorised disbursements incurred.

The Charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year undcr Section 144{2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 201 l A¢t) and that an independent examination is needed.
