To promote and advance Sikhism in accordance with the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (the Sikh Scriptures);

Section D Achievements and erformance p

Following the acquisition of the Charity's new premises in 2010, the Summary of the main process of refurbishment continued with various small refurb projects. achievements of the charity during the year This is the tenth year of the occupation of the new premises once again despite the Covid pandemic we have seen a strong performance in the membership and finances of the Charity. The continued support of the community, members and other donators was paramount to the success and aims of the Charity. Various fund-raising events were also carried out raising much needed funds for the charity with the help of our members. We successfully applied for various grants to support our Food bank initiative. We continued to host Schools visits to support local religious education curriculum for school children and teachers We continue with Eco initiatives by growing some of our own produce, switching to energy efficient lighting and also initiating a project for Solar Panels Hosting educational films Setting children’s educational workshop on the birth celebration of Guru Nanak Dec Ji Face to face Punjabi Classes in new Classroom We commissioned a new Finance application which was created by volunteers and has digitised and transformed the charities financial administration

We have carried out maintenance on the building We continued to host, in the Facility, a Covid Vaccination centre during the Covid pandemic

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 05/04/ 2022. Responsibilities and basis As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in of report accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
