## Section D Achievements and erformance p

Following the acquisition of the Charity's new premises in 2010, the **Summary of the main** process of refurbishment continued with various small refurb projects. **achievements of the charity during the year** This is the ninth year of the occupation of the new premises once again despite the Covid pandemic we have seen a strong performance in the membership and finances of the Charity. The continued support of the community, members and other donators was paramount to the success and aims of the Charity. Various fund-raising events were also carried out raising much needed funds for the charity with the help of our members. We successfully applied for and received two major grant awards; from the Martin Lewis foundation for £10K and £7.5K from Lottery funding – this money was used to fund multiple food banks during the pandemic and also homeless kitchen. We supported over 100 families with free meals during a flooding natural disaster at Billing Aquadrome, where we served over 500 meals We continued to host Schools visits (during non-lock down periods) to support local religious education curriculum for school children and teachers We received an Eco Grant – from Veola to plant our own vegetables which were then also used in the free kitchen We successfully joined a local park initiative to promote World Environment Day and to celebrate the 550[th] Anniversary of our founding Guru by planting a wild flower bed. Awarded the Rose of Northamptonshire award for our going food contributions to those in need. Awarded Northamptonshire ACRE’s COVID-19 Community Champions award for our on-going food contribution during the pandemic. In summary despite the Pandemic we continued to provide services where we safely could to the local community. Sadly in this reporting year we lost one of our esteemed trustees Mr Dial Singh Bassan. Constitutionally we can operate with 4 trustees which we will until the next trustee election cycle.
