## **Objects of Charity** : 

To provide and maintain the premises known as `The Kiln, Badshot Lea Village Hall` as a venue for hire and use by the community.

## **Charities Activities and Achievements during the year in relation to its objectives:** 

The Trustees continue to hire the village hall and its grounds to clubs, societies, and local organisations. Many hirers are long standing, and all serve the local community. We are constantly seeking new hirers to make the most of the hall and the outside areas of the site. 

The community garden at the rear of the site is flourishing and proving to be an important part of community activity and the wellbeing of many local residents. 

## **Work Planned for 2025-2026** 

The removal of many of the trees along the southern and western edges of the car park is now back on the agenda having been initially planned just before covid and the collapse of our income. This is seen as a necessity as tree roots are causing damage to some areas. Work to comply with the Fire Risk Assessment will be carried out during the summer holiday period in August. 

## **Work completed 2024-2025** 

The external kitchen door and frame were replaced to improve security.

responsibiliry to anyone orher than the Trustees as a body for this report.

Accoiintants and have complied with the ethi¢al guidance laid down relating to members undertaking the independent
exgmination of financial statemeiits.
