Burgh House is a cultural and community centre whose main activities are concerts; exhibitions by local artists and lectures; meetings of local groups, and the Hampstead Museum. It is open to the general public free of charge.The principal purposes of the Trust are to preserve Burgh House and its contents, and to protect and improve its amenities for the public benefit.
Objects: (1) To Preserve For The Public Benefit The Whole Or Such Part Of Parts Of The Building Known As Burgh House As Shall Or May Hereafter Be Vested In The Trust Or In Respect Of Which The Trust Shall Have Any Interest Therein. (2) To Protect And Improve The Amenities Of Burgh House For The Public Benefit. (for Further Details Of Objects See Clauses 2 And 3 Of The Deed)
