The trustees meet in a quorum three limes per year to assess the overall running of the museum. The chairman. treasurer, curator and se￿tary meet regulady to discuss the daily running affairs ol the charity. Obj•cts, Organi8atlon and Actlvttl•s The objects ol the charity are lo educate the public and members of the Regiment In the history and military accomplishments of the Regiment and to promote milrtary effIC￿ncY and encourage re¢ruilmenl by public exhibition of the collection in a museum or museums or such other public places as the trustees may from ts'me lo lime decide, and to conserve, restore, repair, reconstruct and preserve objeels and archives in the Collectson. The Museum There has continued lo be a steady increase in visitor numbers wth positive feedback from many of the visitors. A dedicated band of volunteers help to ens4Jre the Museum continues to be open three days a week 8nd one Sunday a month. The Museum hosts an increasing number of specral interest groups, including regular visits from West Suffolk Colloge as part of several of their courses. A FEPOW exhibition spon501ed joindy with the Royal Norfolk Regiment Museum In Moyse's Hall has already attraclad over 7,000 visitors sincè il opened in September and will remain there until Aprll 2026. The Suffolk and Cambrtdgeshire Regiment records and photographs are now held in a roller racked archive store in West Suffolk House. A part lime Archivist maintains the archive, makes them availl8ble to the public and with a team of volunteers answer research quenes. Many of the visitors to the Museum are in search of infomiation about famity members who have served in the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire Regiments. The Museum object and archNe databases have been moved from MODES to MUSEON. These along wth the Museum files are now held on a Cloud based IT system. A new website wll be launched in Spring 2026 which wll include informalion on the Museum objects and archives.

Flnancial Review and Investment Policy Interest from the invested funds 8nd grants are used to fvnd a full lime curaloi. a part-lime Archivist and maintain the Museum. The bulk of the funds are invested with COIF Charity Funds by CCLA Investment Management Ltd in order lo provide an endovmient available to ensure the long term luture of the Museum. There has been a decrease of 4.1 % in the value of the investments la increase of 2410 in 20241. The The Trustee5 have carried out a review of the investrnent strategy and deuded to move the investments to Cazenove following presentations from a number of Investment Management companies. This will take place in early 2026. The Trustees feel that this strategy is the best possible one under the prevailing conditsons. There are no restn'ctions on the charitys wwer to invest. The investment strategy is sel by the Iruslees al its meetings three times a year and takes account of recent demand for fvnds. The overall strategy is lo invest in medium risk inveslmenls. R889ryes Pollcy The charity maintains enough cash at bank in an instant access interest bearing account to cover foreseeable expenses. with a balance of £1.359,000 held In longer term inveslmenls. R18k Management The trustees have examined the major Strategic, business and operational risks wh￿h the charty faces and confirm that systems have been estsblished to enable regular reports to be produced so that the necessary steps can be taken lo lessen these nsks.
