We actively engage wth local supermarket5 to facilitate Put1¢ donation points. an¢J the national RSPCA fA)ntinues to support our Food Bank initiativè providing much-needed direct support to the lo(xl comrnunity. We have also greatly benefited from donations of animal care supplies from both the community and local businesses. In 2024, we held major events: Paws in the Park and our Chri$tmas Fair. A huge thank you and apprecialion go to Amy Bull for her hard work and dedication in driving these events; we couldn't do them without her. We also attended several other local communrty events to raise awareness and attract new followers. supporters. and volunteers. aim 8t every event is to educate. provide supwrt and advice. and raise vitsl funds. Our fundraising efforts have also seen incredible support from individuals. Since our last AGM, many people have offered to raise ftjnds on LNJr behalf through sponsored silences. cake sales. sponsored walks. and runs. including marathons in Milton Keynes. A special mention to our supporter, Sharon. who raised an astounding £2.555 by organising a spon5(xed skydive. MKFM has also created opportunities for us to raise money through their introductions. and we are hopeful of securing a grant this year to fvnd our kitten f(xxl requirements. Looking ahead. wee secured spots in ts 2026 MK Marathon. through which we hope to expand our presw(% and raise vital fvnds.

While accommodating these can be challengiThJ without a public facility or dogs for walking, we've successfully collaborated with over five different companies C their one-day activities. Most of these were instnjmenlal in the le*up to the opening of our New Bradwell shop and in the mammoth task of preparing products and items for events. We're particulady looking forward to working with BSI Group, who have offered to spend a day at their offices creating a marketing and online strategy for us. sin January, we've had over 100 indlvlduals apply to volunteer with us. Wee onboarded a larg8 number of people across soryal media and other administrative functions. helping lo improve our processes. Our soaal media presen has also seen signfficant growth. with an increase of over 1,000 followers sln¢8 June 2024. A¢knowledging Transitions and Looking Forward A significant Change for the year was the transition in our leadefship following Ihe close of the 2024 year. We are now eagedy looking to the future wilh the appointment of tsyo new Ct>Chairpersons.' Zoo Cookson {eff&ctiVo from 25th May 2025) and Jayne Barclay (transitioning from her Treasurer Rola). We share a Strong vision to drive brdnGh growth. aiming lo expand our presènce 8nd capacity to care for even more animals in Ted wilhin the local communty. There is a subslar)b"al opportunity in Milton Keynes to grow our income streams and communty reach. To strengthen our outreach and provide more focused supwrt to our business areas. we have also created new trustee positions across Marketing. Personnel and knial Media.
