Amebdkar International Mission caters to the religious needs of the Buddhist Community primarily in East London but also has affiliates in other cities and towns. The organisation is founded after DR B R Ambedkar who championed the cause of the 'Untouchables' during the British Raj who was also the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution when India achieved independence.

Objects: 1. To Advance The Teachings Of Buddhism:(a) To Support And Maintain Buddhist Monks Doing Dhamma-Duta Work;(b) To Provide And Maintain A Place Or Places Of Worship Firstley In London And Elsewhere Thereafter.2. To Advance Education.3. To Relieve Poverty.
