STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT The Samaj is governed by its constitution. The management committee consists of up to 15 rnembet5 who are elected by the SanTraj members. The manaoement committee is responsible for the overall management of the Samaj, its finance and all activities carried out bj. the Samaj. The title of all and any real property which may be acquired by or for the purpose of the Samaj shall be vested in Trustees who shall be apwjinted by the Managing Committee and who shall enter into a Deed of Trust setting forth the purw)ses and conditions under which they hold the said property in trust for the Samaj. The number of Trustees shall not be less than three and nol more than five. ORIECTIVES The objecls of the Samaj are to advance the Hindu religion through provision of a pla¢¢ of worship, facilTties for religiolts functions and setninars on Hindu religion. It further provides a centrdl place for Hindu cultural, educational and social activities based on the tenets and principles of Hindu faith. When planning the activities for the year. the management committee has Considered the Charity Commission"s guidance on public benefit an in particular. the specific guidance on charitl£s for the advanccment of religion. ACTtVlTIF.S AND PF.RFORMANCE The 202312024 year has giien us challenge to bring back our members to the Mandir events. We continue Bhajan Kirtan session on Saturdays hosted by Mr. Hiten Shah 2nd Tuesday Dhamja Dhyan 5es5ions hosted by Mr. Yogesh Misty. In Dharnia Dhyan sessions our Priest Shree Prafullbhai Dave is teaching our metnbers the Sanskrit vetses from our Shruti scripture Bhagvad Gita and the). are highly praised. Participants enjoy learning Sanskrit prose and get knowledge of our Shruti text. This gives the devotees a lot of knowledge of Hindu Dharn]a. These sessions are w)pular with senior memlKrs who are not able to travel out easily. We are deeply indebted to our arniy of volunteer ladies regularly doing tasks of adordtion of our Detties in the inner saTrctum. We also have regular volunteer devotees who help setup all our religious and community events. The Management Committee thank you all for your selfless Seva to our Mandir. Daily service, Shiv pijja on Mondays attended by large number of devotees. HINDOLA: Reverence to Lord Krushna performed for 15 days with IOS nsors. Ve successful. A large number of devotees attend this event for Abhishek Puja in the morning and special Puja is conducted by Prafullbhai in the evening program sponsored by devotees and flag hoisti on Shiv Parivar. Devotees from Luton Town and surrounding counties attend this event. SHREE SANATAN SEVA SLMAJ The Management Committee are having a good challenge to organize and cater for the in¢r¢asing congregation attendance at all our events. We are very happy to welcome devotees from diverse Asian groups. We are also a giM)d link with the Hindu sdents coming to University of Bcdfordshire. 2)Education We provide language, cultural and religious edutiOn to young membeTS of our COmEnun&ty. This is carried out at Chalk Hill Academy. We teach Gujardti up to GCSE level as well as Hindi classes. Religious knowledge is shared at our templc. We are very grat¢ful to Chalk HAII Acadevny for the provision of classrooms and associated use of their car park and Mandir car park. We have many primary sch11 students, scouts and hospital chaplains who are offered a visit and an understanding of the Hindu faith. Our Secretary Mr. Yogesh Misty acts as an ambassador on these 0¢&gsions. We have also tsken part on a project with Luton Council of Faiths and Grdssroots to enhance Hamiony in Luton by representing Hindu Faith at many PriTnary Schools. We would like to thank Mr. Hitenbhai Shah for all the hard work he does as the Chairy>erson of the Pathshala as well as at all other events. We are concerned by the fall in number of students attending Gujarati classes. This is not just at our temple but seen nalionally. Arts We have recently started Dance Cl&fjses together with OM group Chairperson Raj Parmar. We have also started Dhol Classes. They are going successfully. This encourdges us to intr(MJuce other instrnmental Classes. We have also started Half Tern) Holiday Club for children during school half terni holidays. This is run by Mrs. Krishna Patel who organizc5 different educational and creatiN'e activities for children. This is well supported by children and parents. We thank Krishna Patrl for her time and efforts. ort Team5 Our priest Prafvllbhai Dave serve us very devotedly with online service of our imwyrtant festivals. This provides a link to OLEr memkrs and we thank him for his services. As a charitable organization we are dependent on our memlKrs for their financial dollations and also to all volunteers who help to upkeep our premises. We are very grdteful and appreciate Mr. Prdvinbhai Mistry for his help conducting Mandir services in the absence of Pujari. We are very fortunate that many devotees spollsor the beautifi]I dressage of our deities and fresh flo,er garlands for the six major festtvals. We are also very grateful to all OUT sponsors at the religious evcnts and those that have swnsored our daily 'Witya Seva", services. We thank Uttambhai Pafrl who gives us a lot of help of any caryKnty and DIY tasks in our Mandir. We also thank Sumanbhai Kothari for providing Seva for any electrical work. Mandir thank them for their hard work and selfless service which benefits many senior memkrs of our
community.
We also have Dilkhush Lunch Club who hires our premises one day per week to provide healthy lunch and
other social activities for their senior cilizen meMrs.
Representatives from Alzheimer's charity have giv¢n our members valuabl¢ inforniation on mental health
issues. Diabetes UK presentation was organized by our champion Mts. Lata Shah whereas a Gynaecology
seminar by Dr, Anjali was organized by our champion Mrs. Shobha Singh for our women.
Once a week our COTllTnittee meMir Shobha Singh conducts Yoga classes for our tnembcTS. Thakorbhai Mistry
and Latsben Shah h¢lp with administrdtion. We thank them LN)th.

We give special thanks to our priest Shree Prafullbhai Dave for doing a number of virtual online events keeping our members engag and rdising funds for our Mandir at the same time. Both our administrators Mr. Pravinbhai Shah and Mr. Babubhai Misty are thankd for keeping stringent records of incoming donations and all outgoing expenses. Very. sadly our sentor administrator had to withdraw his servic¢s as a rcsult of ill health. We can't thank him enough for his long-dedicated seTh'ices. We are mosi grateful to Shah & Co. for their invaluable accounting serviS without any cost to Shree Sanatan Seva Samaj. We honor and give special thanks to Shah & Co. We received applications from six interested candidates. They are Ashockbhai Mistrv, Kamalbhai Achary4 Sumanbhai Kothari, Vinodbhai Shah, Gopalbhai Kate¢hia and Jitubhai Bodhani. As our constilution says 5 trustees we consulted the candidates. Vinodbhai Shah agreed to withdraw and so we have Gopalbhai as our new Trustee. Gopalbhai and Ashockbhai attend our cotTrmittee meetings 50 we are grateful to them ft)r their supw)rt. Visitors: Mr. Hitesh Tailor- Mayor of Faling and a IKTry from Luton visited us.
