Structure, governance and management The charity was established by a charitable trust deed on 18 February 1952. The trustees who setved during the period were.. Trustee$ are encouraged to attend appropriate external trainIn￿events where these facilitate the undertaking of their role. The board of trustee5 meets regular￿ to administer the charity. The charity's major assèt 15 the sports ground and associated building at White Post Road, Bodicote, near Banbury. The ground is held on a 999-year lease from l August 1994 at 3 peppercorn rent. Surplus funds a￿ invested by the trustees in a managed portfolio. All other income 15 used for the objects OF the charity. Other than the permanent endowment fund, there were no restricted funds at the end of the year. The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risk5. There have been no changes in the policies durin8 the year. Achievements and performance The trust has again thi5 year met its objectives and performed as expected providing a range of 5POrting and recreational facilities to a range of different local groups, including sports and ¢ommunity-bHsed 8roups. Financial review The charity has performed in line with expettation5 this year. generating funds to Invest in equipment to extend the facilities available to its beneficiaries. The ¢harlty ￿M31nS in a good financial position moving forward. The charity's cash reserves at 30 September 2025 were £35,946 which the trustees deem to be adequate for the charitls requirements. Plans for the future The charity plans to carry on building on the achievements of recentyears ensuring we continue to achieve financial stability and meet the objertives of our trust deed. The Trust is also working with the partner organisatlons to further develop and improve the facilities at The Pavilion. pulling together a mix of funding streams, including the Trusts own investments. Further, the Trust recognises the need to address Compliance with not just their own Policies. but a150 how it achieves its objectives. To this end, it is our intention to develop a Compliance role within the Tnjst, and that thls will Involve the revlew of key policies and procedure5, including an internal audit of the work of the Trust. It is the intention of the Board to move forward in the forthcoming year to achieve ao status, and to thi5 end, the Board has engaged Spratt Endicott Solicitors to help guide them through the process. In order to achieve this Eoal. an item will be placed before the Annual General Meeting in July 2026. This will further inform the Annval Report for the yearto September 2026 and beyond.
