Squirrels achieved their Chief Scouts Acorn Award! We have had some new Squirrels join and some move up to Beavers.

We currently have 10 squirrels.

Recently we have had some exciting visits from a Beefeater and police officers.

The squirrels have enjoyed Science experiments, crafts, junk modelling, campfires and much more.

Beavers have been very busy, in April we went with the District Beavers to the Science museum, we had lots of fun. We also had an exciting visit from the local PCSO’S the children really enjoyed this. We recently visited the Crazy golf course at Broxbourne and this was lots of fun for the children.

We currently have 12 beavers and have had our first lot of Squirrels come up to us. We will be seeing more Squirrels come up soon and see our oldest beavers move onto Cubs.

In 2023 we enjoyed our usual mix of indoor and outdoor activities, making use of the grounds at 1st Wormley. We visited Rye Meads for pond dipping, ESSA to do paddle boarding and the Cubs made bird boxes from scratch with a variety of tools.

Consistently have 14 Cubs - a big thank you to Maria for stepping in most weeks due to a lack of leaders!

Scouts have been busy with evenings have included taskmaster challenges, fire building, cooking, night hikes, nerf wars, Bob Ross evening, map reading, fort building and more.
