Price Hall Refurbishment 2022

Project aimed to make the building safe and secure for the next decade or so!

Our contractor did the following….

Installed new flooring Fitted new cedral board cladding Electrics - new sockets and lights Installed new toilets and sinks - three cubicles Installed new windows Created a new janitor cupboard including sink Created a new storage cupboard for tables and chairs And some minor repairs Our volunteers decorated throughout

We all had an amazing camp for the Jubilee at HQ - lot of activities, crafts and an afternoon tea with VIPs

to everyone who came to the quix nlght, great to see so manypeople. We raised £4100 for thegroup. FIRST WORMLEY COUT AND GUID GROUP PIC.COLLAGE

We marked Remembrance with an event at HQ for all - Ben Quant led our short service and the young people made crafts relating to Remembrance. We all enjoyed refreshments

Christmas Craft day attended by around 20 crafters making all thin Christmas craft related!

Section News

In Oct 2022 after a lot of planning we opened a new Squirrels Drey! We had 4 brand new leaders - Amy, Bijal, Sam and Tracie (assisted by Elsie)

They've had lots of fun with chickens, games, colouring, badgework and loads more!

What a year! Beavers have had so much fun - tent building, cooking, fire station visit, crafts, games, and lots of badges!

The few girls that we have really enjoy crafts and cooking and most weeks that is what we do!!! We have made candles and created jewellery pieces. Last week we started a ‘chip survey’ followed by a stop at the Waffle shop in Hoddesdon…. to be continued after half term!!!

The chariws tfustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43121 of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Artl and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibilty to.. examine the accounts under settion 43 of the 1993 Act: to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 4317llbl of the 1993 Art: and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Independent examinerfs report My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented wtth those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you 35 trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
