**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE COMMITTEE IS TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF PEOPLE OVER 50 IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS OR MAY BECOME CHARITABLE WITHIN THE PARISHES OF BUDE AND STRATTON, MORWENSTOW, KILKHAMPTON, LAUNCELLS, MARHAMCHURCH, POUNDSTOCK, WHITSTONE, ST. GENNYS, JACOBSTOW, WEEK ST MARY, WHITSTONE AND NORTH TAMERTON WITHIN THE COUNTY OF CORNWALL (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT")

**Activities:** Formed in 1977 with the object of promoting the welfare of the elderly within Bude, and the surrounding areas detailed in our constitution, in any manner that is or may become charitable.  Currently that involves operating a subsidised hospital car scheme and a subsidised shopping scheme supported by income from donations and a charity shop.
