**Objects:** To provide and assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure activities for the inhabitants of Parish of Earls Colne in the County of Essex (??the area of benefit?) and other persons living in the vicinity of that Parish and the surrounding area in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life through the provision and maintenance of a Playing Field, Recreation Ground and Pavilion.To further or benefit the residents of Parish of Earls Colne in the County of Essex (??the area of benefit?) and other persons living in the vicinity of that Parish and the surrounding area, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

**Activities:** The charity provides sporting and recreational facilities to the local community. These facilities consist of two football grounds, cricket ground, four tennis courts, MUGA - multi use games area with flood lights, two squash courts and a two badminton court size sports hall. The complex also has a lounge bar and fitness suite.
