Para 1.20 | awarding book tokens for achievement. Each year we support the costs of coaches for school trips, new starters, Christmas lunches as well as proving fun events, such as fairs and Santa’s Grotto. Thus year we have been fortunate enough to be awarded grants for Forest School and cycle/scooter shelters, which the children have greatly appreciated, enabling them to cycle to school knowing that there is a safe place to leave their scooters. |

Para 1.21 | FoFs made a surplus during the year of £16,400 (2024: deficit £16,066). At the year end a total of £19,508 was in held in bank accounts, compared with £3,108 at the end of the 2024 accounts. |

Para 1.22 | We have c/f £3,704 from the cycle grant which school has yet to spend and £123 from the Forest school grant to be used this year for wood etc. £12,000 which Friends of Fermor School raised last year was carried over into the following year towards an external canopy over the Year 1 space, which school has asked for. The estimated cost of this is in excess of £15,000 so we hope to complete this in 2026. |

Report to the trustees/ Charity Name Friends of Fermor School members of On accounts for the year 31 August 2025 Charity no 274291 ended (if any)
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 August 2024.
Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
