They consist of a Royal Charter, which in turn gives 8L*thority to the Bye Laws of the Association and The Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association. The Group is a trust established under its rules which are common to all Scouts. The Trustees are appointed in accordance with the Policy, Or8anisation and Rules of The Scout Associatton. The Trustee 803rd consists of the Chair, Treasurer and 5 Trustee5, who meet monthly during term times. This Group Trustee Board exists to make sure the charity 15 well-managed, risks are assessed and mitigated, buildings and equipment are in 8ood working order. everyone follows le8al requirements and the or8anisation's policies and rules. Their support helps other volunteers to run high quality and safe programmes that gives young people skslls for life. Risk and Internal Control The Group Trustee Board h85 identified the major risks to which they believe the Group 15 exposed, these have been reviewed and systems have been estsblished to mitigate against them. The main are35 of concern that have been identified are: Damage to the buildin& property. and equipment. The Group would request the use of buildings. property. and equipment from neighbouring org3nisation$ such as the church, community centre and other Stout Group5. $4milar reciprocal arrangemerbt5 exist with these or8anisation5. The Group has sufficient buildings and contents insurance irb place to mitigate against permanent loss. Injury to leaders. helpÈts, supporters. and members. The Group through the capitation fee5 contributes to the Scout Associations national accsdent insur3n£e policy. Risk A55e55ments are undertaken befo￿ all activities. Reduced income from fvnd ralsln& The Group Fs prirnarily reliant upon income from subscriptions and fundrdising. The group does hold a reserve to ensure the continuity of activities should there be a major reduction in income. The Board could raise the value of subscriptions to increase the income to the group on an ongoing basis, eithertefflpordrily or permanently. Reductton or loss of leader& The group is totally reliant upon volunteers to run and administer the activities of the group. If there was a reduction in the number of leader5 to an unacceptable level in a particular section or the group then there would have to be a contractton, consolidation, or closure of a section. In the worst<ase scenario. the complete closure of the Group. Reduction or1055 of members. The Group provides activities for all young people aged 4 to 18. If there was a reduction in membership in a particular section or the group as whole then there would have to be a contraction, consolidation, or closure of a Section. In the wor5t-case scenario. the complete closure of the Group.

Section D Achievements and erformance The trustee Board has fully 5UPPOrted the group in running a full schedule of activities across all the sections IBeavers/cubs & Scout51 including a joint summer camp. It has been noted by the Board that the number of leaders acr055 the group has declined which has resvlted in an increased load onto the remining leaders who in some case5 they have had to cover more than one section to allow the actiwties to take place. The Board would like to recognise the commitment aod flexibility of the section leadeis over the year and acknowledge that without their time and effort this group would not be able to run the full programme of acrivities throughout the past year. In addition, support has been given with group fundraising activities including the annual firework display. Ickenham Festival 88Q's and working patties to help maintain the building and grounds. Our thanks goes to the parents and supporters who have helped with these activities.
