I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 3010612024.

basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 {Ihe Acr).
I report in respeGI of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){bl of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention (other than that disclosed below "l in connection wilh
the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
accounting records were nol kept in accordance with section 130 of
the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper understanding of Ihe accounts to be reached.

Our membership numbers have declined from around the 60-mark before
COVID to the Current level of some 45, and our average age continues lo
rise. We have therefore been slightly less active as a Club but continue to
SLÈccessfully raise funds amongst ourselves and the local community
through:
1. Member donations.
2. Street organ and supemiarkel Christmas Collections.
3. Various choral concerts.
4. Christmas Parcel Appeal amongsl local businesses and charity
groups.
5. Banbury Town Council payments for our stewarding of community
events such as Armed Forces Day.
6. Individual member presentations to extemal groups raising funds
for Alan's Africa.
7. Pilates instruction by a member via Zoom raising funds for
Kenyan Kids.

Funds are distributed only after vetting applications or in response lo
appeals which come within the Trust's objectives and are approved in
accordance with the Trust Deed.

The Club does not hold long-temi investments which could be subject to
loss of capital, and all short-lerm investments (which have not attracted
any significant interest in recent years) have now been cashed in and
Consolidated into 8 single bank a¢¢ounl.
All members of the Rotary Club are volunteers, and the charity could not
function without their tremendous individual and collective efforts.

Receipts of £47.927 were raised from donations. fundraising,
sponsorship and Gift Aid lax refunds during Ihe 12-month perlod.

Cash reserves at the end of the period stood at £16,566 which is below
that of previous years and indicates a greater call for charitable giving
during the year than our fundraising achieved. However, a healthy
reserve remains.
