The coffee shop remains our ma5n source of Income and you wlll see by the Treasurers report that the

VAT bill does reduce our funds
The Trustees contlnue to meet every 8 weeks and at present are vn)rklng wlth the Trust to design a displav
ion the plnk wall bythe coffee shop. It is hoped thatthe display will give information on the work of the
League. Also, there are on8oin8 plan5 to have a pillar at 8ate 20 to advertise and direct people to the
coffee shop. The committee are in need of new members, and, would ask you to consider putting your
name fonvard
Recently we have welcomed el8ht new volunteer5 who are under80ing training at the present. Itls hoped
that In September the coffee shop wlll be able to open from 2-5pm on Sundays and in October Saturdav
openin8 wlll commence. We still need more volunteers so that we can extend Monday to Frlday openings
into the Èvening.
My thanks extend to Emily. Bwalya and Kat. NBT Volunteer staff, for their support
Finally, since the Lea8ue of Friends started at Southmead Hospital in 1977 serving teas and coffees in
wooden hut, we have glfted to the Hospital over £ 2,(K)O,(M)O. Well done everyone.
