The objectives (rf the Charity ar8 to provide rélief of need, hardship or distress amongst th8 employees and former employees and their dependents of Cleansing Service Group Ltd and its subsidiaries. This will include helping in hardship where health difficulties resum in financial difficulty, helping retired beneficiaries to continu8 to live independently in their own homes, helping with mentsl wellbeing by social interaction and helping in time of trauma or loss. The rnain aGtiviti8s illGlude providing holiday vouchers. sending hamp8rs at Christrnas, maintsining gardens for those unable to do it themselves. funding transport lo hospital appointments, helping with funeral costs and medical costs wh8r8 hardship is shown. Management & Governance Arrangements The charity is administered by a Management Commiiteè. The Management Committee is comprised of the Directors and Company Secretary of the Truslèe companies. The members of the Management Commitiee are appointed by the Tnlstses of th8 charity. The following persons held office during the year. Thes8 subgroups are given aulhorily to make decisions and will rewrt in full to all the Trustges at the next yearfy meeting. Regular contact was kept with pension8rs through the visitor coordinator who received reimbursement for his expenses during the y8ar as well as paymant for time spent WOt1(ing for the charity. Employe8 communication was maintained by ongoing ntact with depot management through the company newsletter and a newsletter for pensioners. Procedure & Policy for Grant Making The Charity invites applications for assistance from employees and former employees of the company in specific instances where they may be suffering from hardship. The Charity also provides general assistance to pensioners in the fomi of Christmas gifts. an annual Tea Party, window cleaning and gardeniro serwGes. The Charity also provides holiday vouthèrs to pensione in specffic instan¢8s where they may be suffering hardship.

A valuation of these shares is not possible as the shares remain unquoted. The dividends from th&se shares tog8ther with interest on accumulated cash balances prowdes the income for the Trust to meet its obligations. During th8 year to 30 Jun8 2025 dividend income and investment income amounted to £69,586 (2024.. £70.524). During the year grants and related costs totaled £66,586 (2024- £51,091). There are no restrictions on the Charity's power to invest. and the ManageTn8nt Committ8e has adopted a policy of maximizing income while investing in low risk investm6nts. Investment strategy is reviewed annually by the Management CoTnmittee. The Trustees review the reserves policy on a regular basis. The last review concluded that in order to allow the Charity to be managed efficienuy and to avoid any intemjption in actiwties. unrestricted funds should ideally be maintained at a level of no less than £100,000. Future Plans The Trustees irrtend to continue providing grants in a similar way to the r6c6nt past. In order to ensure its ongoing ben8fit and relevanGe thè Trustees continue to review the op8ration of the Trust. Statement of Trustees, Responsibilities Charity law requires th6 trustees to prepare financtal stal8ments for each financlal year whlch show 8 truè and fair view of the statè of affairs of the charity and its financial activities for that period. In preparing those financial stat8ments. the trustees arè required to.. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting racords which disclose wlh reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position ofthe charity and to anable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Chartties Act 2011.
