According lo the latest estimate. 50 million people around the world live wilh rebral palsy_ ICPS, founded in 1969. is a self-help 'umbrella' organisalion acting as a resour centre aiming to prowde knowledge, appropriate support and encouragement to people with disabilities, their families and the professionals who work wth them. 11 is an organisation, which responds to need. helping others to help themselves. The trustees have paid due regard to the Charity CommissKJn guidance on publiG benefft when ddirj the aims and objectives of the tharity and strongly believe it achieves this. The drop in income from memlETship subscription is the result of the hle sending of subscription invoices for the year in question and not lo a drop in the number of members which has increased by 50 /0 between 2021 and 2024. The income or the chartty has increased to £36.037 (£11,475 - 20241- Subs1p110nS are always gratefully recewed bul the large fluctuab.ons the GhaTtty has from year to year huhlights the need for subscribers lo be pro-active in ensuring the ctharity conb.nues lo be well supw)rted, and that subscriptions are received on a timely besis. The a¢cowts show a suwus for the year 01 £12,811 Idefi¢il £10,391 20241. Last yèar included a £25,000 contribution to the Pension Fund as delailed in note 9 of the accounts. This was a fixed cost lor which the trustees reached a full and final setdemenl in September 2023. wtlh payment made in November 2023. The charity continues lo keep a high profile for Cerebr palsy on the inlemational stage.
