been using the hall for over 40 years, and Mighty Oaks Youth Club, ￿[ch offers 80clal and

The hall is regularty hired ty local groups for fAJch a¢￿VrtIeS as zumba. l>adminton. boosffit,
taekwondo. and pickl¢ball. It is a popular venue lor wedding receptions. wakos, parties and social
events of Many kinds. It is also a local polliNJ station. The hall's size and domed roof enable it to
accornrnodate larger activities than most other facilities In the area. The adjoining Harling Room 18
used for meetings, craft aThJ otr￿f aclivities of FAnaller scope.
Land leased by the Association pemits a local charity to mainiain an active and well u8ed
communty garden, providing an attractlve and **lcomw 8pace for local people, 08pecialty th088
wrthout their own gardens. to visit and u8e.
During the year the A880ciats'on'8 Tw8tees, other volunteer8 and stsff 6pent an estimated 8everal
hundred hours planning improvements to the centre. £4,080 arising from Pa￿ legacies was also
expended in this connection. A grant of £6,OW was gratefulty received from Tandridge District
Coundl whlch enabled archttects to Produ￿ a redevelopft￿t fea8iblllty St￿. Futher local
authorfty grants have been agr￿1 or are being 8owht b pwmtt this proi•¢t to progre8s in the n•ar
future.
A Charilable Incorporated Organlsation was regi8tered on 22 March 2024 wlth the intsntion that it
will acquire the Assoa'ab'on's as8ets, liabilili88. contr8¢ts aTrJ commitrmnts durtng 2024-25 and
advance the improvement of th• c•ntr• und•r a MI￿ chaTttabl• structur•.
