**Minutes of Village Centre Trustees Annual Meeting Meeting held on 13[th] April 2022**

## **2 Acceptance of Minutes from Last Meeting** 

Last minutes from 9[th] February 2022 were circulated and accepted. 

## **3 Report from the Year** 

The playground refurbishment is moving on quickly, £12k has so far been paid out and the Committee have raised £33k so far mainly from grants and donations. This will be spent during 2022 and may run into 2023. Bowls Club wall was repaired and tree works were undertaken in the garden. These were paid for by the WODC Covid grant. We are expecting electricity prices to increase during the latter part of the year. 

## **4 Annual Accounts** 

The swimming pool took £7.5k in membership 30% of which will be paid to the swimming pool committee after expenses. The monies collected for playground refurbishment obscure the figures for the centre – the project will be concluded in 2023. Part of the covid grant from WODC was spent on repairs to the bowls club wall and taking down the leylandii trees which were becoming dangerous in the garden.
