I report in respect of my examination ol the Trust's accounts carried out under seelion
145 01 the 2011 Act and in ¢airying out my examination. I have followed the applicable
Directions given by the Charity Commlsslon under section 14515llbl of the Act.

In carrying out my examlnalion ¢t was noted that the Charity has not received an NS&I
Inveslrnenl Account Slalernenl since 1 January 2022, where Ihe balance shown was
£4807.29. This is a postal account, with the last slalemenl being sent lo a former
Trustee. The former Trustee has confirmed that no further slalerrEnls have been
re¢eived and subsequently GonlaGled NS&I in October 2024 to notify them of a
change in Trustees and lo request an updated slalemenl. At the lime of writing this
report, the slalemenl has still lo be issued. I can advise that the current Treasurer
has made a further written request lo NS&I to resolve the matter. As a result, l am
therefore currently unable lo verify the Inveslmenl Account balance as al 31 August
2024.
I confirm that there are no other matteTS in connection with the examination lo which
allenlion shoLJld be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts
lo be reached.

ort
For a ClublGroup that has gross income in excess of £25,000 you are required to have your
accounts audited by an Accountants firm. It is required to have a Trustees Annual Report to
include the objectives of the Charity and the main activitieslachievemenls lan example is
noted below} -
Advance the education of young members of the public at
large, in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related
subjects., and
In the interests of the social welfare of such members lo
provide, and promote the provision of, facilities for recreation
and other leisure time oGGupations, being facilities which will
improve their conditions of life and will assist in the
development of their spiritual and mental capacities, self-
reliance and individual responsibilities so that they will grow
lo full maturity as individuals and members of the community.
Our Club is one of 37 independent Clubs affiliated to the Devon
Federation of Youn
Farmers Club
Charity fundraising - £2,000 has been raised for the Devon Air
Ambulance and Bowle Cancer West.

This has been many activilies that Ihe club members have taken part
in this year from stock judging, carol singing, sports, and organising
events to raise money for charity.
This includes quizzes, a Charity ball and doing wedding bars to raise
money.

The club purchase sheep for members to look after and breed from.
These are then sold with Ihe profits being shared between club and
member and the original Gost of the sheep coming back to club. This
is a great way tor members lo experien￿ breeding sheep without
the initial out lay of having to buy the sheep.
The Club confirms that il has referred to the guidan￿ contained in
the Charity Commissions general guidance on public benefit when
reviewin
its aims and ob'ectives and in

future activities.
On average the Club has monthly meetings in a village hall in the south
hams. This is in addition to a very full program of everything from
speaking competitions and having a great lurnout at slockjudging.

during the year
Our year was completed with an end of year celebration and AGM Io
thank the members, advisory and parents for their help and to
congratulate Ihe members by presenting the Club Trophies.
We made donations to our chosen Charities Bowel Cancer West and
Devon Air Ambulance
