Ch8rity fundraising - £3000 has béen raised in lolal and was split
b8tween Over and Above hospital charity and Chemo hero.
This money was raised through fundraisers including. bingo, quiz,
Christmas tree collecllon, easter fayre and our charity party.
The Club confirms that it has referred to the guldance conlained in
the Charity Commissions general guidance on public benefit wh8n
reviewing ils aims and objectives and in planning future aclivitles.
Our club has regular meetings al the beginning of the month, w8 meet
through social 8venls, fundraisers and come together to meet new
people with similar inter8Sts and to raise money for charities Close to our
hearts.
We attend social events such as bike rides, roundèr evenings, bbo
events and many social events throughout our group North Devon YFC
and county group Devon YFC

achlevoments of the charlty
during the year
This specific year we chose Chemo Hero who are a charity supporting
those with cancer and who provide support through gifting boxes of
items that are needed Ihroughoul a patient's recovery. Over and Above
directly donated our money to the neonatal unit at North Devon district
hospital as this is a unit that a few of our members have been involved
with both as babies themselves and their babies have required their
support.
