Hi Becci,

Please find attached below, if you need anything else please let me know.

Many thanks,

Alicia

Firstly I would just like to congratulate all members with their fundraising efforts and I am pleased to say we have no outstanding member debts.

The club has made a £3,614.21 loss however this is due to paying the £4,000 of charity money from the year 22/23 which had still been left in the account and also for the club’s success with the pantomime which came at a cost of £2,501.57 excluding hall hire.

However it is not all negative. Remedies made £8,610.81, which is essential for the club to be able to compete in competitions like the Panto and for the club to subsidise members’ subscriptions fees with the club subsidising £2,476 this year.

It has been a very successful year for fundraising with members raising £6,000 for RABI and the Bramble Ward. RABI have received their £3,000 and have thanked Withleigh for all their efforts. I am waiting to hear back from the Bramble Ward so I can get the money sent over. Our Charity fundraising events such as Bingos, Christmas wreaths, dung sales, Christmas hamper and the Panto rerun were very profitable throughout the year with our biggest earners being the Christmas and Easter Bingo making a profit of £1,309.91 and the Panto rerun making a fantastic profit of £1,455.34. At the end of the year Withleigh held a Barn bash which made a profit of £2,034.27 and the members decided to round the charity money up to £6,000 and keep the rest for the club, however this is not reflected in this year's accounts.

I'd just like to mention that at the beginning of the year £10,000 was transferred to one of the Business savings accounts after the charity money from 22/23 and 23/24 were transferred. The stock account is also back in use and I have created another business savings account which can be used for Charity money.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Sarah Reed and Withers Steele accountants for being so generous and taking their time to go over the accounts.
