- Advance the education of young members of the public at large, in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects; and

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** 

- In the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide, and promote the provision of, facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations, being facilities which will improve their conditions of life and will assist in the development of their spiritual and mental capacities, self-reliance and individual responsibilities so that they will grow to full maturity as individuals and members of the community. 

Our Club is one of 38 independent Clubs affiliated to the Devon Federation of Young Farmers Club – Charity number 1098759. Charity fundraising - £2637.92 has been raised for the FCN and Exeter Leukaemia Fund with the money being spilt - £1000.00 to FCN and £16397.92 to Exeter Leukaemia Fund. This has been many activities that the club members have taken part in this year from Entertainments, stock judging, carol singing, sports, and organising events to raise money for charity. 

The Club confirms that it has referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commissions general guidance on public benefit when reviewing its aims and objectives and in planning future activities. 

On average the Club has fortnightly meetings in the Devon Rural Hub.This is in addition to a very full program of everything from after dinner speaking, clay shooting to farm walks. 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Our year was completed with an end of year celebration and AGM to thank the members, advisory and parents for their help and to congratulate the members by presenting the Club Trophies.
