They have<br>assisted with running an entertainment day<br>on the recreation field. The building is used<br>by the Army cadets each week and is<br>available for other users in the parish.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Another year with challenges from outside<br>the youth club, in particular the lack of<br>support and understanding from the Martock<br>parish Council due to a change in personnel<br>and cessation of direct funding, which is<br>challenging.<br>The activities vary from week to week there<br>are three formal sessions a week for<br>different age groups but there is an open<br>house time for young people to have more of<br>a one to one session with the youth workers<br>within the governance and safeguarding<br>regulations.. The Youth Parish Coucil is very<br>active and they help to plan activities and<br>outside visits, produce videos and feed into<br>Facebook.<br>Architects have been approached and will be<br>appointed to undertake a full redesign of the<br>building to make it more up to date, to<br>reduce the utility costs and improve<br>alternative uses by other users. A building<br>fund has been growing thanks to donations<br>and in house fundraising. Other granting<br>bodies will be approached during the coming<br>months.|
