Advance the educalion of young members of the public at
large, in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related
subjects,. and
In the interests of th8 social w8lfar8 of such members to
provide, and promote the provision of, f8cilities for recreation
and other leisure time occupations, being facilities whiGh will
improve their conditions ofiife and will assist in the
devBlopm8nt of Ih8ir spiritual and mental capacili8s, self-
li8nce and individual responsibilities so that they will gmw
to full maturity as individuals and members of the community.

Our Club is one of 38 independenl Clubs affiliated to the Devon
Federation of Youn
Farmers Club- Charit number 271867.
Summary of the main activities
undertaken for the public
benefit in relation to these
objects (include within this
section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public benefitl
Charity fundraising- The club has raised £9449.41 for our Ghosen
charities this year which included the Northern Devon Foodbank,
ChemoHero, Devon AlrAmbUlan￿ and Proslale Cancer UK. This
money was raised through a number of events including a skittles
competition, bunny drive, foam party, tractor run and big breakfast.
The Club confirms that it has referred to the guidance contained in
the Charity Commissions general guidance on public benefit when
reviewing its aims and objectives and in planning future activities.
The Club has monthly meetings in the local village hall. As well as our
fundraising events Ihe club has been for a tour at Crediton Milling,
purchased, reared and sold club sheep and been planning a ball for
September 2024 lo mark 90 years of our club. We also took part in the
County Drama competition.

during the year
The year will be completed with our AGM on 2110124 to thank the
members and advisories for their help. We will also present members
with various awards.
The money raised for charity this year is as follows-
Northern Devon Foodbank- £875.42
ChemoHero - £5705.27
Devon Air Ambulance- £1716.93
Proslate Cancer UK- £1351.79
