Objectives and Activities
The village hall is managed for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Kingswood near Wotton-
under-Edge in the County of G￿u￿ter for m￿tingS, ￿ctureS and classes. and for other fomis of
recreation and I￿Sur&time cwjpation, with the ot¥ecl of improvirwJ the condf(ions of lrfe for the
said inhabitants.
A¢hlevements and Perfomiance
This year the Hall has, as last year, OFerabJ * a much reduced level due to Covid 19. Towards
the end of Ihe year as reslriGtions were eased, use began to pid( up and the indications are that
use of the Hall is returning to more noThal levels. ExFendrture was been kept low while the we
waited to see what tlE long temi effects of the pandemic a￿. We have survived, financially. thanks
to the hardship contributions from the govemment and are now in the posthon to resume ongoing
maintenance and improvements in the coming year. The Trustees would like to thank their
chaimian who has, since the year end retired. for all his hardwork and enthusiasm and wthout
whom the Hall would not be in the excellent state it is today.we continue to Search for new
volunteers to teGome trustees and help make the Hall ever more fft for use in our communtty.

Financlal rgvl
The hall retained a surplus of £17,840 for the year thanks to govemment supp￿1 grants of
£20,393. This has covered the Hall's ongoing costs and wtll assist with maintenance and
improvements which were deferred until the effects and duration of the pandemic became clearer.
Now with bookings retuming to F)revious levels the Hall's strorKJ financial position will allow the us
to look contidendly to the future.
