Th8 Charity is managed bya board oftrustees nominated from amongstthe membership of
Durobrivae Lodge No 6956 underthe Registry of United Grand Lodge of England on behalfof thé 16
Masonic Units resident at the Howard Hall Memorial Hall.
The day-to-d8y management is delegated to a H811 M8nagementCommittee. consisting of
representatives of all resident Masonic Units and the Trustees themselves. The Trustees and
members ofthe Managementcommittee receive no renumerationfortheir efforts.
Each Masonic unit makes independentdonationgto both Masonic 8nd non-masonic charities as
agreed upon bytheir membership. Some Units voluntarilychoose to make some ofthese donatlons
via th8 Durobriv8e Lodge Benevolent Fund. Others. donations going direct to their chosen Charities.
Income is derived from those that use th8 Hall. this includes Masonic units ancl non-masonic
users. Non-masonic users include fitness. dance. special interest and retirement clubs and private
P8nies. Our users embrace all age ranges and Sectors ofthe community. Re￿stered Charities such
as Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis and the'Derby and Joan. clubs are given free use of th8 hall wlth
the agreement of the Hall Management Committee.

The Debentures shown in the accounts were &year. unsecured and zero interest108ns from the
resident Masonic units, primarily in 2023124 but also in the year currently being reported. to help
the Durobrivae Lodge Benevolent Fund recover from the financi81 impact of COVID-19.
