In my opinion the accounts give a true and fair view of the state of affairs at the 31st August 2024 and the

charitable total of £4.000 to give to our charity of the year. Alzheimers society. Well
done everyonel
Of this £4000, a very impressive £1 ,6CH) of that came from the auction at the 80th

Thank you mr chairman.
Last year we held a couple of adivities.
Starting off with our Christmas quiz which we had a lot of members and subscribers
tum up to.
We then had 2 parties the Christmas pyjama paty and secondly the beach party,
which was definitely the best by far, it was a huge ask filling a bam full of sand and I
want to thank everyone in the committee and the members for all the help and
creating such a good party and one to remember.

We've taken part in a number of sports competitions over the year, including
volleyball and dodgeball, and football where we ¢ame a respectable 2nd place! As
one of our meets, we organised a friendly rounders competition against Wix, which
was fun! Both the men and women's Tug of War teams did well this year, with the
men winning at show and the ladies Coming 2nd. both qualifying for Eastern Areas.
Here, the men came 2nd and the ladies came 4th. Lucy also went on to pull at
Nationals with Dunmow, where they places 3rd in their group against some tough
competition.

Over the year we have seen lots of growth in ￿a¢h, impressions and engagement
across all social media platforms, as well as an in¢rease in followers. which has
been helped by the creatbon of reels giving a real insighl into what we get up to as
club.
We set up a TikTok account which has all0v￿d us to increase brand awareness as a
club, but also gel creative with different trends - I hope this will continue next year!
Throughout the year, the Club has featured in the Essex Young Famiers magazine,
as well as in the show magazine, showcasing our meets, fundraising, sports and
other competition successes.

strawbery picking, a night at ninja warrior and a tour around Chelmsford City
Ra￿courSe, we've certainly done lots!
Since retuming from our summer break, we have been rock climbing in Colchester
and enjoyed a wacky games evening with some competitive wheelbarrow racing.
It's been a busy two years organising meets! Good luck to the new programmes rep
for the upcoming year.
14. Subscrlbers - Geor

Maldon Young Famiers has been very well supported by our subscribers this year,
our numbers have grown since 2023 and we hope to see even more sign up this
yearl
Over 113rd of the tables sold at our 801h ball went to maldon subscribers and their
guests, so hopefully this has helped lo spread the vnrd on our club. as well as our
increased social media activity too.
We unfortunately weren't able to arrange a subscribers bbq this year, but we've had
requests to organise a family friendly day for next summer.
Thank you.
15. New members - Laura Harrlson
This year has been amazing for new members. We started off the year with a new
members night filled with drfferent team building activities which had a great turnout.
Over the last year we have had 36 new members sign up to equal 81 members in
totsl. These new members have played a huge part in several areas of maldon
young farmers through different meets and activities, by helping to setup and run the
Essex young famiers show and our maldon 80th ball.

Thank you Mr Chaimian and Good Evening all.
A lot of the fundraising events falls under a lot of the other committee roles tonight
and I'm sure will be widety covered so I will try not to overlap and repeat too much
vthere l G9n.
To start off, just want to say.. what a great year we have hadl
We first kicked off our year with fireworks night. This event hugely exceeded
expectations with the tumout.. we sure give Maldon prom a good Tun for their
money year on. It won't be long before we do this all over again next month - what
feels a little dejevu upon reflection.
In November we set up a fundraising page on Facebook for the Movember
challenge. Certainly some interesting looks seen around the club. Albeit a short

period of time and small target, we managed to raise a total of £260 for ¢harity.
Following was our annual Christmas quiz. A great tum out for this one from both the
club, subscribers and general public. Despite the rising costs of village halls and so
forth and not raising our entry ￿Sts. we still managed to break even and make a
small profit towards our charity.
Christmas trees quickly followed from our Quiz. This is always one of Maldon's
biggest fundraising events every year generating a big portion of our overall totals for
charity. As expected this exceeded expectations and again, much like the fireworks
night, was great to seejust how much the general public support our club and the
high numbers of retained customers from previous years.
Jumping into the new year, we had a day shoot. Very well done to all those who
helped out with this event, this is again one of our top fundraising events for Maldon
and could not be run without all of you.
Unfortunately we were unable to organise a group entry for the Maldon mud race this
year due to the overlap with our 80th ball. I'm sure you can all agree Ihal this was
worthwhile sacrifice.
not sure that the sore heads would have copedl Nevertheless,
hopefully this is something the club can look in to organising for the next year.
Apart from that, not much else to report! I have really enjoyed the last year and look
forward to what the next has in store.
Many thanks!
