Minutes of the last AGM- George Howe Monday 14[th] September 2022 – True and accurate report
Chairman's Report- George Howe
Overview of the Spring Ball- £6892.15 raised. A big thank you to everyone who helped set up ball.
Harvest Supper- raised some money had a good evening,
Carol Singing, Christmas Trees- thank you to everyone who helped, explained what happened to the trees once collected, ½ recycled ½ to Colchester Zoo, GH noted that giving trees to the Zoo was a personal highlight.
Efficiency-Whilst don’t know the score the club received George received some good feedback from County,
Subscribers vs YF cricket – Thank you to Ed and cricket club, GH suggested that this was something to look to continue and possibly expand to include 2 games rather than 1.
Tendering Show- Good reports back from in the ring work, thank you for everyone who supported,
Joe shooting- top 10 ranking at Nationals first time Wix have gone to nationals in last 5 years.
Tug of War- good effort given the limited training time- thank you for effort. Thanks to Mark and Allen Black for providing training.
Mark Morton suggested we could look to get two teams together for coming year, including a girls’ team. Also highlighted that starting training earlier would definitely benefit coming years teams.
Wix had a strong presence at different parties this year. They were able to get a least 1 car of people to every part over the last year.
New sports clothing shown to members- thank you given to sponsors. In total now have 22 kits.
Thank you again to Mark, Sarah, Jane and Fiz. Thank you to committee for support and help in year. Thank you to Cam Young and Izzy Fairley for help and support throughout the year.

Adoption of Chairman's Report
Treasurers Report- George Howe on behalf of Cameron Young.
It was a successful year, George provided an overview of the funds raised this year, they also highlighted how the club’s money had been used directly for members, for example the hiring of the minibus as well as paying for football hire and the new sports clothing. Total money spent on each member through expenditures was £36.30. Cameron thanked key members of committee for work this year.

Programs Report- Retained membership- air ambulance highlight, various meetings lots of activities.
Countryside- Connor Wordingham
Two big highlights of countryside were the fence building and also stock judging. Both were a success.
Subscribers- James Foxon
We have had a good response from subscribers in terms of attendance to events. Those who have attended have given good feedback. Noted that the newsletter was a good addition and is something that will be continued next year. (name) is going to pass on template to next committee member to use.

Overall, it has been a successful year.
Social Media-
Thank you was given to those who shared posts and content. Highlighted as an area that we can look to improve in coming year. They wished luck to future committee.
New Members-
Not had the biggest uptake in new members over the last year. Over the coming year the new members should continue to be a focus.
Competitions- Cam Fairley and Charlie Morton
Thank you to everyone who participated. Had a good year we won basketball and dodgeball. Also did well in the football and netball. Good luck for next year.

Presentation of cheques to chosen charities- Three charities chosen this year. Cystic fibrosis – explanation of charity- money going towards developing new treatments for Cystic Fibrosis. London Police dogs’ charity and air ambulance £1250 to be gifted to each charity.
