TO THE AJ & BA DAY CHARITABLE TRUST
This report on the ￿coUnts of th¢ AJ & BA Day Charitable Trust for the year endd 31 March
2022 As in respect of an examination carried out under Regulation $43 of the Charities Act 1993.
Respec*ive responsibilities of trustees and examiner
As the members of the Charitable Trust, you #re responsible for the preparation of the financial
statements. you consider that the audit requirement of the Regulations and section 43(2) of the Act
do not apply. It is my responsibility to issue this report on those financial statements in accordance
with the temis of the Regulation 7 of the Chariti¢s (Accounts and Reports) Regulalions l993.
Basis of independent examlner's report
My examination w&8 carried out in accordanc¢ with the Gcncral Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 43(7)(b) of the Art. That examination includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the Charitable Trust, and a comparison of the accounts with ihose
records. It also includes considering any unusual 1￿m$ or disclosures in the accounts and sceking
explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required Rn an audit. and consequ¢ntly I do not express an
audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent examiner's statement
In connection with my examination, no matter ha5 Gome to my attention:

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
to keep accounting records in accordance with $￿tIOn 41 of the Act. and to prepar¢ financial
statements which accord with the accounting records aThd to comply wlth the requircm¢nts
of the Act and ihe Regulations. have not been met, or

to which. in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order lo enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to b¢ r¢ached.
