The Thomas Benyon Charitable Settlement
Report of the Trustees
for the Year Ended 5 April 2024
The trustees present their retKprt with the flnancdal statements of the charity for the year ended 5 April 2024. The
trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Stat&m8nl of Recommended
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in a¢xordance with the Finan¢i81 Reporting Stsndard
applicable in tho UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffeclive 1 January 20191.
In the year 2023124 the settlement con￿ntrated ils resources in raising money for the work of ZANE.. Lmbabwe
A Nats'onal Emergency that involves inler alia, looking after pensioners, tho mitigation of Clubfool in childrtrn and
the provision of basic education to small Children. This was the work that TBCS founded in 200213- when
became a substantial activity in its own right the work it was spun off to a new charity (number 1112949). 11
shovld be noted that T8CS retains the use ol the lille ZANE.. Zimbabwe A National Emergency).
The market for raising funds is difficult because of Puts'n's war, the rise in inflation and the ￿st of living. TBCS
has not embraced any new charitable initiatrv&s in this year of acuyjnt.
No Iruslees were paid expenses and the running costs remain modest.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
