## Activities

**Objects:** TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES AND IN PARTICULAR THE ARTS AND SCIENCES OF MUSIC, BY THE PRESENTATION OF OPERA, BALLET AND DRAMA BY HOLDING EVENTS TO THIS PURPOSE. TO PROVIDE BURSARIES TO PROMISING STUDENTS STUDYING BALLET AND OPERA, NORMALLY ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE TEACHERS OF THE INSTITUTES CONCERNED PROVIDED THERE ARE SUFFICIENT FUNDS WITHIN THE SOCIETY.

**Activities:** The Society organises presentations and demonstrations by leading figures and performers in the fields of opera and ballet.The Society offers Bursaries to students whose talents would be nurtured by attending full and part time courses relevant to professional careers in the arts of ballet and opera.
