At the core of our strategy the Charity I￿lId5 a￿oing relation5hip5 with or8anisations to provide
multiyear fundiryq. These relationships allow the Trustees to work with the lxgani5ati￿S they
are funding to ensure our objectives are reached.

Additionally, each year the Trustees consider new applications. If approved the impact of these
Erants Is reviewed to consider whether further supwrt is appropriate.

The Trustees are re￿ewing the application prcKes5 to ensure that it Is both rlgorous but not
onerous for applicants.
A revlew of all lorE term funding arraTh3ements is underway and will be completed in 2024.

The Charity relles the generosity of members of the WcYshipFul Compary of Environmental
Cleaners. A revlew of exiS￿n8 do￿$ has been urKlertaken to encourage supkvt. Regular
communication of the impact of grant Is communicated to the members.

The Trustees have stsrted a review into the grant makir8 strategy vAth a vlew to ensure
maxlmum impact. The review will be completed In the next 12 months.

have met regularly with them to ensure that the Investment r￿1cV 15 followed.
The portfolio generated an income of £37,328 during the ypar.

The Members of the WCEC Llvery are the main %)urce of funds and volunteer Sup1￿ to the
Charlty. The Charlty15 deeply Indebted to the generoslty of the member5 of the WCEC Livery.

After maklng approprlate enquiries, the trustees ha¥p a reasonable expe¢tstion that the Charlty
has adequate resources to cirtinue In ¢)peratlonal existence for the foreseeable future. For thls
rea50n they continue to adopt the golng concern ba%s in preparin8 the financial ststements.

The Trustees revlewed the reserves r￿icY and have agreed the followlng:_
The restrlcted reserves fund has been mls named and is an endNment fund. They a8reed that
the goal should be to keep 2 years runnin8 Costs as free reserves.
Flnanclal summary

In the year ended 31st March 2023 the Charity generated a10s5 of £98,69212022.' gain £80.9171
which included net losses on investmerrts of £107.22512022: gain £78,767). The Trustees
therefore c(Jnsider that the operating surplus £8.53312022: £2.1501.
The Expendable Endowment Fund Was Stated at £1.169,587. Unrestrlcted Funds were £93,230.

the broader cleaning industry. They wish to increase the impart of donations and use thls

Environmental Cleaners Charlty Trust tor the year ended 31 March 2023 whKh comprise the Ststement of
Financial Activities, the Balance Sheet and the related notes.

As the charity's trustees you are responsible forthe preparation of the financial statements in accordance
with the requirements of the Charitles Aci 20111.ihe Act'l. The trustees consider that an audit is not required
for th15 year under the Charitle5 Act 2011, s.14412} Ithe 2011 Artl and that an independent examSnation is
needed.
I report in respÈrt of my èxaminatlon of the charlty's financlal statements carrfed out under sertion 145 of
