Failure to aehieve
financial stability
The programmes of work proposed for IAMK'S fuiure are
highly fundable. and indeed have been ideniified as a priority
locally and nationally across a portfolio of funding sources.
We were succe55ful in achieving 3-year project funding from
Children in Need but the challenge remains attracting
consistent core fundin8. One of our projects which earns
income towards cor¢ funding is a nightclub for learning
disabled adults and thi5 had to be SLt5pended over the last 15
months.
Our r¢serves have again had io be deployed in this financial
year to achieve the core funding required d¢5piie an increas¢
in overall turnover and furbdraising.
The grant from MKC durin8 this financial ye8r swrtched
from core support ro project fundin8 which had an impact on
our financial stability.
The Board will keep a firm hold on finances and funding by
continuin8 Wlth bimonthly meetings. Jnter-A¢tion has set up
a Finance subgroup of 2 Trustces who meet monthly with th¢
Director and the Ac¢ountant to monitor financial activity

We art working to In¢￿ase our potential for earned income
in 202 Ir22 with a new digitsl proj¢¢t and with grant bids to
