**Objects:** TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF LOCAL HISTORY, ARCHAEOLOGY AND RELATED SUBJECTS IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH. TO PUT ON PERMANENT RECORD AND WHERE APPROPRIATE PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY. TO CO-ORDINATE LOCAL RESEARCH AND TO GUIDE THOSE SO ENGAGED TO SOURCES OF INFORMATION. TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE DOCUMENTS PICTURES AND OTHER RELICS RELATING TO THE BOROUGH AND TO ENCOURAGE SUCH PRESERVATION BY OFFICIAL AND OTHER BODIES. TO FURTHER THESE OBJECTS BY MEANS OF MEETINGS EXHIBITIONS EXCAVATIONS CORRESPONDENCE AND VISITS TO PLACES OF INTEREST.

**Activities:** A programme of talks on the history and archaeology of the borough of Wandsworth and beyond; archaeological visits to the Thames foreshore; occasional visits to local places of interest; support for Wandsworth Museum.
