TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE AGED AND THE OTHER INHABITANTS IN THE AREA OF THE PARISHES OF NORTH ASCOT, SOUTH ASCOT, SUNNINGHILL, SUNNINGDALE AND WINKFIELD IN ANY MANNER WHICH NOW IS OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFOT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIKE FOR THE AGED AND OTHER INHABITANTS. **Activities:** The Ascot District Day Centre provides a place to which the elderly of the district may spend the day (10.00 to 15.30) partaking of the various activities on offer and receive a healthy lunch as well as tea/coffee mid morning and afternoon. The centre is funded by donations & a small charge to members.
