Our Objectives

We recognise the importance of valuing each child as an individual and providing them with a secure and friendly learning environment, where they can be nurtured and encouraged to develop their skills and talents.

Our key objectives for the year included:

Developing a good relationship between staff, parents, carers, and other associated with the school.
Engaging in activities of providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils.

Achievements and Performance

This year we have raised funds to support the school with new library facilities which are planned for the next academic year. We have also spent funds on classroom equipment such as new tables and chairs and electrical fans for each classroom.

Our Finances

The financial statements show net income resources for the year on school activities of £30334.93

The principal source of income are the events our charity organises in the school. As a charity, the parents have the assurance that all the income of the school must be applied for educational purposes. However, as an educational charity, we are unable to reclaim VAT input tax on our costs as we are exempt for VAT purposes.

Structure, Governance and Management

The Charity Trustees are responsible for the overall management and control of the Charity and meet five times a year. All trustees give of their time freely and no remuneration or expenses were paid in the year.

Report to the Trustees Friends of St. Josephs On Accounts of Year Ended August 31st 2024

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 31st August 2024 with the books supplied to me.

As the charity Trustee's you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011.

The charity's gross income exceeded £25,000 but not more than 250,000, requiring an independent examination and I am qualified to take it by being a member of the ACCA. I have noted the accounts are prepared on a cash basis.

No current Liabilities or loans are outstanding as declared by Trustees of the Charity.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attenti in connection with the examination based on the information given and enquires done.

I have no concern and have not come across any matters to which attention should be drawn i the report.
