The club provides a venue for members to meet, socialize, discuss their sport and to engage iii Llie ru nning of the charity. The club encourages team participation in npen events and shoulder to shoulder shooting in competition with other clubs ana participates in leagues for both individual and team target shooting at both county and national levels. Club members have reached the highest level of the sport in being selected to shoot for Great Britain. I'he coinmittee would also welcome community use of the club's facilities during the daytime when not in use foi- shooting activities which would also be for the public good as Pinhoe's corthimL5I1i':, facilities are pi-esently rLilly utilized and yet the village has grown and 15 growing iurther wifii new housing. Summary of the main achievements ofthe charity during the year The first £igniricant eveni of the year was the official opening of the new Pinn Brook range complex compi-lsing 2 new 25 metre indoor ranges and a new IOM air range, a 6 yard range, dart board. armories and £et lip room. On Satu rday 7tli AugLlSt 2021 Lord Clifford of Chudleigh, President or Devon iouniy Smaii-t)ore Ritle Association ofricially opened the ranges witli a large gathering of members, familie.1 and LFuests. Shooting liad been able to start again in late luly 2021 and since then the club has gone from strengtli to sti png,IlI l4ving dedicated Wednesday evenings to new members, their induction, training ana onwards to club membership. 'I'he new ranges are in use every day and membership ofthe Pi-one, Bench resc and Lightweight Sport Rifle groups have grown considerably. Financial Reirlew The Chai-ity was very roriunate to obtain a second grant of £50k from the Viridor Waste Management Lommunities Fund to build botFI the extension to infill between the old club house and the new !-anges aD.(I to increase the area of the car park, level it, install a membrane and cover it with gra'iei. I'lip car park was completed first and the infill building to provide a new entrance area and stol'e room was ii'ell in progress by the end of the year. With the eiid of Lovid restrictions memberships and subscription income increased significantly. The Firft rep¢iyYeiii instailnient of members, loans was made at the end or the year. There have been some expressioiis or iiiterest to hire the cnarities facilities but no takers to date. The charity has only one general fund. The Charity has accumulated funds over the years in order to improve the shooting facilities tor members and these have now been spent to build 2 new 25 Page 2 of3

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Pinhoe Rifle Club for the period ended 31 July 2022.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
