Where has another year gone?
It is without doubt that it has been a busy one. Id like to start by thanking everyone that
puts the time and effort into the charity admin, the facilities and most of all those that
use the facilities.
We have had some bigchanges in volunteers and paid staff overthe last year. Id like to
thank Sue Babey for her time and skills with looking after the charity's f inances for the
last few years. A thank you to Georgina Fisher for her years of service- the decision
was made to streamline the booking role and the treasurer role into one to cut costs
and improve eff iciency. somethingwhich everyone can sympathise with in the current
world. And a thankyou to the Parish Council Clerk for taking on the additional work
subcontracted through the Parish Council.
I reported last year that we were going to start looking at redoing the kitchen. I c8n
confirm that we have raised enough funds with some events, kind donations from the
Seavington Flower arrangers, Seavington Gardening club and the Seavington CLT. We
h8ve booked the works to commence in August. I have brought some drawings to the
meeting if anyone would like to look at them.
