Objectives & Activities

The objectives of RCFT are

Achievements & Performance

Groups, conferences and activities continued at Rora. Including large kids camps and conferences during the summer. The monthly youth club is also popular, with 35+ kids attending each month. We were able to take 15 young people to a youth weekend in Reading.

Maintenance work continued around the site and in the property, including new patio area, door through to church, new toilet outside games room, and new wash basins in all bedrooms. A church in Chester partnered with Rora, sending a team of builders to complete the renovation of a room, including new floor and plastering. The church also kindly paid for all the materials for this project.

Rora was able to host a wedding in October 2023 in our barn.

Rora continued its partnership with the local Co-Op store in Liverton, and we were able to support local families with food parcels. This is a project that is continuing. Rora was successful in its application for a grant from Co-Op, who donates a % of its profits to charity, and were able to build a ‘trim trail’ outside activity for older children and young adults. This was installed early 2024.

Finances

RCFT does not charge for use of the facilities, but ask for donations from visitors. RCFT does benefit from Gift Aid re-payments on appropriate donations. God has been faithful and provided all the finances required to complete all the work being carried out, and to keep the house running.
