Achlevements and Perfomiance The year was, in some ways. quiet. In lerrns of significant events we held two baptisms. ol people new lo Chrislianily, faith, and lo Christ's church their subsequent commilmenl has been an encouragement and a lesson lo us. Our Sunday services continu8 and. despite the lack of inleresl in Jesus Christ from an Increasingly godless nation and local area. we have persevered in faithful preaching of God's Word - the morning series on 2 Corinthians and Ihe dangers of allowing outside non-chrislian influences lo affect the failhlulness ol the church lo Christ was well reeeived. During the year we also concluded our evening series in which we preached through the entire Book ol Psalms what a glorious encouragement Ihal book is lo us. We Ihen commenced an evening preaching series on Ezekiel, a m051 wonderful series ol prophecies and warnings that the unfailhful church of today would do well lo heed. Our Protestant History Conference was held again, in October. and although allending numbers were low the viewing figures for the lalks on YovTube were pleasingly high. We continue lo gel occasional visitors on Sundays. and the various weekly events ¢onlinue. It is gratifying lo gel good turnout {comparalive to our total numbers, and given the distance somg have lo Iravell al our weekly SludylPrayer Group. and for Ihg Women's Morning on 1 sl Fridays. The church is open on Wednesday mornings, and ahhough there are few who drop in. those who do have aayS found that Ihey have gained something from their lime with us. 11 is sad lo report that yel again, despite slerling efforts to hand out leafleis about and to personally encourage people lo attend our services al the end of December, almost none did so. Outreach with the Gospel continues lo be ellecled, bul God has chosen that it not be effective. We did discover. however. a Teddington work where we could continue to share what we have been given by God in terms of food and the like, and have begun lo support Ihal work. Financially, after all Ihe work we had pul ift over precedirwJ years. everything continues lo be sel fair. We can only t( thank God that He has given us the wherewithal lo conlinue preaching His Word faithfully for decades to corne. wilhoul feeling that we have to compromise His Truth in order to gel the income we might need lo support us. Better lo be in penury Ihan lo be unfaithful- and the Lord has ensured that. al this lime, neither is the case.
Trustees, Report {continued) Praise God from whom all blessings flow. May He continue lo strengthen us. Ihal we may continue lo be faithful lo Him. This reFKSrt is offered in Chrisfs name, and to His glory. Amen. Once again, we give thanks lo God for His graciousness towards us. and for conlinuing our ministry of the Gospel of salvation by grace alone, in Christ alone, lttrough failh alone. God is indeed. as His word declares. faithful to His chosen people, and. Nehemiah 9 v 32, "keeps covenant and sleadfasl love. with them - as we have seen once again this past year.
