The hall provides a venue for ycga dasses, dance dasses, Monday moming cafè, baby and toddler group. book dub. Sunday brunches, drama prcrfjuclions, musical events. film nights. social events, weddings and parties, art aThJ ¢xaft fairs and various group meetings. The ntre also leases a rcrf)m with a fulksized sTh)okèr table to the Harrold snooker club and leases two hard courts wlth knd lights to the Harrgld lawn tennis club. The annual Ptt Run. a SK run around the local park, and village fete are organised by a sub commtttee of volunteers from the ntre. Fundraising events such as barn dances, quvz nights. Section E Financial review Brief statement of tho charlty's pollcy on rnsenres Bank and $h balan5 at the year-end were a healthy £30.686 and we have now paid off the remaining debt incUed during the refurbishment of the Cent in 2017. The main financial nsk to the charity is its closur8 to the public due to fire. flood or pandemic. Funds are held lo {er 6 months operational costs in the event of loss of income and lo meet any unforeseen expenditure that may occur. Principal sources of income are fundraising and the hir8 of halls and meeting rooms. Solar pands purchased the previous year have reduced electrlcty bllls by almost £3.CrfXI and we hope soon to receive income from the SEG scheme. Improvements induded a new website £1.500. a shed for Tc¥Jdler equipment £2,409 and an understag8 storage system £1,952. Future improvements are anticipated to include the installation of an air source heat pump in the caretakerfs flat to replace the inefficient electric heating system and the resurfacing of ihe car park. Funds are being a¢JmU1aLéd to cover these costs and applications grants are being made.
